Heathrow Airport Holdings has announced the sale of Aberdeen, Glasgow and Southampton airports in a £1bn deal. The airports have been sold to a consortium formed by two companies – Spanish firm Ferrovial and Austrialia-based Macquarie. Ferrovial holds a 25% stake in Heathrow Airport Holdings. HAH now only operates Heathrow Airport.
