Worcestershire County Council is consulting on plans for a Worcestershire Parkway railway station situated at Norton, where the Worcester-Oxford ‘Cotswold line’ crosses the Birmingham-Bristol rail line, south-east of Worcester and close to the M5. The council says the £17m station could open in 2017, subject to planning permission being secured next year.
