1,100 unregistered foreign vehicles seized by DVLA, HMRC and police

Over 1,100 foreign registered vehicles being used illegally in the UK have been seized since the DVLA changed its enforcement process to work with the police and HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC).

The enforcement actions are the result of growing concerns over the number of foreign registered vehicles staying longer than the six-month period allowed for temporary visitors to the UK.
