Will charge-as-you-drive bring more electric cars to our roads?

A new feasibility study commissioned by Highways England says that dynamic wireless power transport (DWPT) technology is a potential solution to the problem of charging electric vehicles travelling on relatively long trips, i.e. along the motorway network. it acknowledges, however, that at present there is essentially no customer demand for this technology to be implemented.
