Stagecoach Group trading results for the 24 weeks ended 17 October are generally in line with expectations.
Regional UK bus operations recorded a 1% revenue growth, but estimated passenger journey numbers fell 0.3% over the same period in the previous year. Revenue growth was best in the commercial sector, and only modest in the concessionary sector. Revenues from tendered and school services continued to decline, reflecting cutbacks in local authority spending.
