A big shake-up to bus service registration procedures is on the cards in England and Wales.
To register new services, or to amend or terminate existing ones, bus operators in England and Wales currently apply to the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency in Leeds. The office there provides administrative support to the Traffic Commissioners in several areas, including the licensing of heavy goods vehicles and bus operators.
