Parkmobile has entered the ‘sharing economy’ arena with the launch a peer-to-peer parking service called spacehopper. This sees the cashless parking provider go into competition against players such as JustPark and YourParkingSpace.

Parkmobile wants to create a new marketplace for the informal parking spaces outside traditional paid-for parking provided by private and public sector operators.
