Skidata wins $19m contract

San Francisco Municipal Transportation Authority (SFMTA) is to upgrade access and payment systems at 22 car parks providing 15,000 spaces.

The $19m (£15m) contract has been awarded to Skidata, which will be providing its Parking.Logic software to run Power.Gate and Barrier.Gate hardware.  The parking systems will be connected into the city’s fibre-optic network for faster processing of parking transactions.
