Sixteen London bus routes carried more than ten million passengers a year in 2015/16, according to figures released by Transport for London.
The busiest route was the 25 connecting Oxford Circus with Hainault in east London. It carried almost 20 million passengers a year (see table).
TfL has supplied the London Assembly’s transport committee with patronage figures for every route in the capital.
