MSP hopeful that private parking sector will be regulated

The Scottish Government is giving its backing to a Bill aimed at regulating the management of parking on private land. 

SNP transport minister Humza Yousaf supported the Regulation of Privately-Operated Car Parks (Scotland) Bill, proposed by Conservative MSP Murdo Fraser during a legislative session discussing the separate Parking Code of Practice Bill, which is currently making its way through the Parliamentary process in Westminster.
