The South East England Local Enterprise Partnership (SELEP) has earmarked £14m towards the cost of building Thanet Parkway rail station, near the disused Manston Airport in Kent. The award will be subject to a full business case being submitted to the LEP in July, following completion of the GRIP stage 4 work, and approval by the board in September.
