The DfT has confirmed a £17m contribution to a £22m improvement to a section of the A2300, being promoted by West Sussex County Council. The project will dual a 1.5 mile section of the road between the A23 and the proposed Northern Arc roundabout, near Burgess Hill. The project will facilitate the delivery of 3,500 new homes. Construction will commence this spring, with the road expected to open in winter 2021....
