Covid-19 has given impetus to local authority plans to develop Low Traffic Neighbourhoods as part of the DfT’s Emergency Active Travel Fund and TfL’s London Streetspace Plan. Low Traffic Neighbourhoods (LTNs) are groups of residential streets, bordered by main roads, where through traffic is discouraged or removed.
