Thurrock Council is to procure a sole provider of on-and off-street electric vehicle charging infrastructure, including maintenance, back office and customer service. The contract will run for ten years with the option to extend for a further five. The council envisages a minimum of 20 installations a year. It currently has just three charging points, all more than eight years old. Contract procurement should start this month, with commencement in April....
