Liam Byrne, the Labour candidate for next week’s West Midlands mayoral election, must have had a chuckle after thinking up the name for his new climate agency that will absorb Transport for the West Midlands. The Green Energy, Housing, Transport Agency will go by the acronym GrETHA, a homage to the climate crusading Swedish teenager. But LTT reckons Andy Burnham should go one better if re-elected by renaming his outfit the Greta Manchester Combined Authority.
