Brighton & Hove Buses is working on a project to convert existing buses from diesel to hydrogen fuel cell operations.
The operator is working with engineering and environmental consultancy Ricardo on the project.
The project is one of two hydrogen bus projects being developed by members of the Hydrogen Sussex partnership.
