Stoke-on-Trent City Council has increased its budget for the redevelopment of the city centre from £1.5m to £4.74m. This, said the council, will ensure the “site’s full potential can be unlocked and the economic benefits to the entire city are maximised”.
The council bought the East-West Precinct and former bus station site from the private sector in 2018.
