More than 50% of Londoners are in favour of city centres being car-free, with exemptions for car-sharing clubs, taxis and cars used by disabled people, according to a new survey.
The survey, conducted by Survation for the Car Free Megacities campaign, found 51% want car-free cities in London, with 45% and, 49% backing the idea in Paris and New York at respectively
