Popular travel navigation app Citymapper, developed and deployed in London in 2011, then in other major international cities, has been sold to US global tech firm Via in a cash-and-stock deal.
Via said the deal would allowit t to integrate Citymapper into its platform for ‘on demand’ transport services, allowing it to connect all elements of a transport system, to offer “a unified solution and exceptional journey planning experience.”
