Airport services at Teesside International Airport will be undertaken using hydrogen-powered vehicles under an £8m government competition.
Transport secretary Mark Harper announced winning projects of the second phase of the competition encouraging businesses and innovators to develop technology that uses hydrogen fuel to accelerate transport decarbonisation.
