A new coalition has been formed to address the poor condition of roads in the UK after new figures from the AA revealed that pothole damage to vehicles has worsened in the past five years.
The figures show that the AA dealt with 631,852 pothole related incidents in 2023, which involved damage tyre, wheel, steering, and suspension damage. This is an increase of 16.39% when compared with 2022 (543,000).
