City Science join SYSTRA as Modelling World headline sponsors

25 March 2024

City Science are joining long-term conference sponsor SYSTRA in their generous support for Modelling World, the leading data and modelling event in the UK and Europe.

"We are pleased to announce that City Science will be a Headline Sponsor, along with SYSTRA, of this year’s Modelling World conference," says Simon Lusby, Managing Director & Head of Consulting, City Science.

Modelling World 2024 is a premium event, aimed at modelling career professionals and focused on the business critical questions exercising the transport modelling profession. As usual at this year's event, there will be plenty of time for debate, interaction and active contribution by all attendees, along with bookable demonstrations of City Science's software portfolio.

“City Science specialise in providing evidence-led decarbonisation advisory and software development solutions, that supports UK businesses and local authorities and their decision makers in reducing carbon emissions,” says Lusby. They are at the forefront of empowering innovation into the modelling sector."

Modelling World 2024 will be followed by the must-attend MW 2024 Dinner and Social Networking event from 18.30 in the impressive Mercian Suite at the Birmingham Conference & Events Centre.

About Modelling World

Organised by experts in the sector with extensive and up-to-date knowledge of current and emerging issues, Modelling World 2024 is a live event that brings together the UK's professional – and rapidly developing and expanding – data and modelling community.

This year, along with welcoming our committed community of expert modellers and data specialists from national, regional and local government, consultancy, entrepreneurs and innovators, we will be reaching out to professionals with increasingly relevant insights for transport modellers, including data scientists and modellers working in non-transport and cross-industry sectors.

About the Modelling World networking dinner

The networking dinner takes place on the evening of June 19, in the impressive Mercian Suite at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre. The 3-course dinner and reception gives speakers, delegates, sponsors and exhibitors a unique opportunity to meet, network and catch-up in an informal and social environment. A sponsored drinks reception at the bar will be open after dinner for those that wish to stay longer for networking and meeting with peers and colleagues.
