Clean Cities sets out vision for freight deliveries

Report champions replacing diesel van deliveries with electric vans and trucks as well as cargo bikes

Transforming the way in which goods move around cities would make a significant impact on cutting carbon emissions, says a new study from the Clean Cities campaign.

Urban freight currently makes up around 25% of all carbon emissions from road transport in cities (see graph), and has been increasing in recent years as more people shop online, and population and economic growth continue.
