Cheltenham car park plan criticised by civic society

Cheltenham Civic Society has objected to proposals to build over 150 homes on the site of a town centre car park.

The group says it wants to conserve the architectural and historical features of the Gloucestershire town. The society said it wanted the developer to come forward with a plan that reflected the importance of the site's location.
