Obstructive parking blocked Humber lifeboat

A lifeboat crew has warned that bad parking risks lives after their vessel was blocked in by a car.

Humber Rescue, which is based at Hessle Foreshore, said a white BMW was left in front of their boathouse and delayed their response to an emergency incident on 19 May.

The car park was parked despite several signs asking people to park away from the large shutter doors.
