Beach trips generate 11% more traffic to the South Coast

RingGo measures parking sessions bought by out-of-towners during summer

Tourist trips to the seaside has increased car traffic to six popular coastal towns on England’s South Coast by 11% this summer.

Cashless parking provider RingGo has been analysing data from Plymouth, Hastings, Portsmouth, Bournemouth, Eastbourne and Torbay’s councils. Sessions from non-residents rose by 8% in Hastings and 14% in Portsmouth.
