The National Trust has been granted permission to use overflow parking area at a north Devon beauty spot for an extra 52 days of the year.
North Devon Council planning officers granted the trust permission under delegated powers to use the site at Baggy Point in Croyde for 80 days a year.
Baggy Point has a 90-space car park but can open an overflow site for 28 days per year under a permitted development allowance.
The trust admitted it had used the car park more than its permitted allowance....
