Two delayed annual reports focussing on the performance of England’s Clean Air Zones have finally been published by the DfT, Defra and DVLA. The reports provide an overview of: the service; its components; live zones; and key performance statistics.
Clean Air Zones are in operation in Bath, Birmingham, Portsmouth, Bradford, Bristol, Tyneside (Newcastle and Gateshead) and Sheffield. To avoid being charged each vehicle type must comply with a minimum emission standard.
