A derelict site in the Lincolnshire town of Sleaford will become a public car park.
The town’s former ambulance station on Kesteven Street has been disused several years.
North Kesteven District Council has purchased the land and intends to redevelop it as a car park.
Councillors hope the site will help to ease existing parking and congestion issues in the town centre. Businesses have been critical about a lack of parking for the pedestrianised Market Place.
