Modelling World 2017 will explore existing model capabilities, strengths and weaknesses. How can models better support robust and transparent decision-making? Do current methods make the best use of new data sources and emerging technological solutions?
As the debate surrounding the future of modelling intensifies, it's never been more important for the profession to be informed and prepared.

The 12th annual Modelling World event invites proposals for presentations on the following themes:

  • Environmental modelling

  • Who will drive data collection, analysis – and modelling?
  • Modelling in data rich and data poor environments

  • Modelling Smarter Travel, modal shift and intelligent mobility
  • Understanding demand: modelling for people
  • Future working: collaboration, skills, and opportunities
