On-demand transport schemes do not follow a one-size-fits-all logic. Demographics and conditions vary – as do the local transport links already operating and the funding and regulatory circumstances.
This free webinar from Padam Mobility focuses on the importance of Transport Consultancy and Service Simulations prior to launching a DDRT service.
Chair:
Chris Hillcoat, Future Mobility, KPMG
Speakers:
Xuefei Wang, Transport Consulting Team Lead at Padam Mobility
Jack Holland, Head of Northern Europe at Padam Mobility
Xuefei Wang, Transport Consulting Team Lead at Padam Mobility will talk about how the Transport Consulting Team at Padam Mobility works, including the steps involved in a mobility consultancy. This will walk through the initial feasibility study, which is used to design a first realistic DDRT proposal, to operational services, which Padam Mobility offers to continuously monitor and improve the ongoing service.
Xuefei will be joined by Jack Holland, Head of Northern Europe at Padam Mobility, who will share how Padam has already successfully simulated and analysed DDRT services in order to set up tailor-made offerings or effectively scale up existing service areas.
The webinar will be chaired by Chris Hillcoat, KPMG, and, until recently, the programme lead on personal mobility for the Solent Transport Future Transport Zone. Chris had a pivotal role in many of the FTZ initiatives including the Solent MaaS app, Breeze, and the integration of new mobility.
Are you planning to set up an on-demand service in your area, but do not have a clear idea of how to identify a suitable area or service model? Or are you generally interested in how Padam Mobility supports its customers in their operations?
In this webinar, you will learn from experienced experts, among other aspects, which requirements have to be met for a successful on-demand service, which data is collected, which tools are used and which best practices Padam Mobility already has in place.
Do you have questions for the team? - During the registration process you have the possibility to submit your questions.
