Mike Schofield became the new chairman of ITS UK, a society which promotes intelligent transport systems, at its AGM at the National Railway Museum in York. He is a director at Atkins.
He takes over from Professor Eric Sampson of Newcastle University, who has been chairman of the society for the past two years. Sampson will now become an international ambassador for ITS (UK).
