Car park charges to offset Dartmoor’s funding shortfall

Dartmoor’s national park authority is set to introduce seasonal parking charges at its car parks to help generate income. The authority is considering a move to charge at its car park in Princetown between April and October. This follows the loss of 28% of its budget funding in the government’s Comprehensive Spending Review.
