The new Bristol Parkway car park

A new multi-storey car park at Bristol Parkway was opened by transport minister Baroness Kramer last month.

The £13m structure has added 710 new spaces to the First Great Western operated station. The station’s parking capacity is now around 1,800 spaces.

Before the work, the site was regularly full and First Great Western expects Bristol Parkway to become much busier once the Great Western mainline is electrified.
