The DfT has announced a £23m grant fund to support the delivery of hydrogen fuelling infrastructure. Hydrogen fuel providers will be able to bid to the fund in partnership with manufacturers of hydrogen vehicles. The funding competition will open this summer. Transport minister John Hayes said the Government wanted almost all new cars and vans to be zero (carbon) emission by 2040.
