Police in Greater Manchester deleted a tweet about a crackdown on “inconsiderate” cycling after protests from cyclists over the image that accompanied the tweet.

On 15 September, police from Denton and Droylsden Division said “due to increased reports of inconsiderate cycling” they would be “challenging/fining” cyclists who do not follow “good practice”.
