The Scottish Government has awarded councils £20.6m to fund the installation of more electric vehicle charging points and procure more electric vehicles.
Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee, Edinburgh and Falkirk councils will share £12.1m in the first round of the Switched on Towns and Cities Challenge Fund. Meanwhile, 31 of Scotland’s 32 councils (the exception being Glasgow) will share £8.5m to deliver about 300 charge points through the local authority installation programme....
