Support for a Cambridge congestion charge

About a third of commuters support the use of a congestion charge to end gridlock on Cambridge’s roads.

Five thousand people took part in a month-long survey organised by the Greater Cambridge Partnership (GCP), which decides how to spend government money on infrastructure in Cambridge and the surrounding area. The partners are Cambridge City Council, Cambridgeshire County Council, South Cambridgeshire District Council and the University of Cambridge.
