A new grant funding regime for bus services in England outside London has been proposed by the Campaign for Better Transport.
The environmental and public transport lobby group calls for Bus Service Operators Grant and the grant for concessionary fares reimbursement to be replaced by two new funds targeted at the objectives of the Government’s promised national bus strategy.
