Concentrations of nitrogen dioxide and nitrogen oxides fell by an average of about 3 per cent a year at monitoring sites in the 2010s, according to a survey by Air Quality Consultants.
A team led by AQC’s Professor Duncan Laxen assessed data from 112 monitoring sites for the period 2005 to 2018 and 183 sites for the period 2010 to 2018.
