Merseytravel PTE has branched out into the animal kingdom by sponsoring and donating two lesser-spotted animals to two Merseyside railway stations.
The ‘Superlambananas’ may sound like characters from Dr Doolittle. One breed is a statue of a lamb, covered in ‘Lamb Lines’ based on the Merseyside rail network map, and has found its home at James Street Station in Liverpool city centre.
