Woolwich Arsenal DLR extension, Greenwich/Newham

The Mayor of London, Boris Johnson, has this week officially opened the Docklands Light Railway extension to Woolwich Arsenal. The 2.5km extension runs from King George V station under the River Thames to a new station at Woolwich Arsenal where it provides an interchange with Network Rail’s Woolwich Arsenal station on the North Kent line. Services run every seven minutes during the peak period and the new station will provide access to the Woolwich Artillery Barracks for the 2012 Olympic...
