Countryside campaigners in the West Midlands are urging transport minister Paul Clark to delete two road schemes from the region’s Regional Funding Allocation. The West Midlands branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England wants the DfT to delete Shropshire Council’s Shrewsbury North West Relief Road and Herefordshire Council’s Hereford Outer Bypass from the regional priority list.
