PTMA 2009 Winner: Young Passenger Transport Professional Award

18 June 2009

Scott Dunn
Diamond Bus

Scott Dunn has been around buses since he was 10 years old. His first taste of the business was with his father’s Dunn-Line business, based in Nottingham. He helped to turn that business around. He is now managing director of West Midlands-based Diamond Bus, which is owned by AIM-listed Rotala. Once again, Dunn has transformed the business.

The judges said: “We were impressed with Scott’s track record and personal commitment – both to the businesses for which he works, but also to his own personal development, which led him to achieve an MBA on a part-time basis. His work in turning round the operations that Rotala acquired in 2008 from Go Ahead is impressive, testified by the fact that his nomination for the award came from Centro, the West Midlands PTE.”
