John Gorman’s 20 years in the industry has taken him from bus driver to assistant operations director for First Scotland East. Meanwhile, with 31 years of service to the industry, Stuart Roughley’s drive has far from diminished.

The judges said: “We were impressed by how John meets tough targets and his skills as a people manager. A great example of local management at its best. Stuart impressed us with his track record of service delivery in a busy urban environment, his role in mentoring management trainees and his work with the local community. A true professional.”
