A van driver furious at being issued with penalty charge notice (PCN) in Ely, Cambridgeshire, assaulted a police community support officer (PCSO).
Paul Harrison had parked in a disabled bay while visiting a Barclays Bank ATM, and swore when he realised that PCSO Paul Murphy was writing out the PCN. The PCSO fearing violence, pushed his emergency button to summon help, and was shoved in the chest by Harrision.
