Merseytravel protects free travel for over 60s

People on Merseyside look likely to continue to benefit from free travel on buses from the age of 60 even though the Government is raising the age of eligibility to 65.

Legislation was passed in March raising the eligibility age for concessionary travel in England from 60 to 65 in increments between now and 2020.
