Transport for London this week defended its policy of removing 60km of pedestrian guardrailing, as a practitioner claimed it had already led to an increase in pedestrian casualties.
The claim is made in this week’s Viewpoint by Doug Stewart, an inventor of high visibility guardrails. Stewart has spent much of his career researching guardrail effects.
