A new rail shuttle service linking Gatwick Airport’s north and south terminals has been launched. It is part of airport owner Global Infrastructure Partners’ £1bn investment plan for the airport announced last month. Global Infrastructure has also dropped “London” from the airport’s title. The investment plan includes improvements to the South Terminal departure lounge, entrance forecourts, immigration hall, baggage systems and the North Terminal Interchange....
