Royal borough floats inner London LEZ

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea has floated the idea of an inner London Low Emission Zone to improve the capital’s air quality.

“The council is indeed consdering its own options for an LEZ, which, in order to have an impact, will have to be implemented in conjunction with other boroughs,” said the borough’s draft response to the mayor’s draft air quality strategy. “We are keen to explore the use of the soon to be redundant Western Extension Zone...
